Education:
Jurate earned her BA degree in her native city of Kaunas, Lithuania from Vytautas Magnus University. She also holds an MBA in accounting from the National University and a Master of Tax and International Taxation Certificate from Golden Gate. Jurate earned her JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Jurate has over 20 years experience in public accounting. A licensed CPA in CA from 2001, Jurate has worked in various small and mid-size California firms before opening her own practice in 2015.
Jurate specializes in international tax consulting. She has helped numerous ex-pats and internationals to comply with complex US international disclosure requirements.
Jurate passed the CA bar in 2023 and is admitted to the CA bar, which allows her to represent clients in the US Tax Court and further expand her consulting services.
Jurate is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs, and various other organizations.
